RICARD, Ann Cecile Ricard

Died peacefully at the age of 82 years on February 12, 2026 after a lengthy illness. Loving Daughter of the late Anatole Ricard and Lulu Mary Ricard ( nee Stevenson).

Ann was a dedicated career woman working for the Government of Canada in the departments of Industry Canada, and Foreign Affairs, with missions in Romania, Peru, New York City, Trinidad all loved to hear her recount her adventures upon her return to her hometown of Ottawa, where she spent her retirement years.  Ann as an accomplished seamstress took great pride in volunteering to help design and sew costumes for Orpheus Little Theatre.

Survived by her brother Joseph Ricard (Susan) and sister Anne Marie Ricard (Rod Neville).  Predeceased by her baby brother Michael, and sisters Bernadette Cherryholme (Ray), Joan Ricard, Aileen McElroy, Marylou Hyland (Peter), Suzanne Murphy (Dan), and Cynthia Quigg (Mike).  She will be lovingly remembered by many nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

A heartfelt thank you to all the nurses and doctors at Carling View Manor for their kindness and care.

Family and Friends are invited to pay their respects at Pinecrest Visitation Centre, 25000 Baseline Rd. Ottawa, on Friday March 27, 2026 from 11:00am to 1:00pm, followed by a Memorial Service in the Chapel.
