KASTER, Richard – Of Hanover, passed away suddenly at home on Tuesday, December 22, 2015. He was 76.
Born on May 2, 1939 in Walkerton to the late Clarence and Marjorie (nee Dean) Kaster. Richard owned his own logging company (Kaster Logging) for many years.
Survived by loving wife Leone (nee Farrell) Kaster of Hanover, son Greg (Debbie) Kaster of Stayner and daughter Kim Hallman (Carl Huber) of Hanover.
He seemed to light up when he was around his grandchildren Nicole, Timothy and Jordan. Loved brother of John (Brenda) Kaster of Ottawa, Art (Janice) Kaster of Strathroy, Ruth Rosevear of Walkerton, Marg Rossignol of Southampton and Mary Kaster of Barrie.
Fondly remembered by his sisters in law Elaine (Jack) Moffatt of Walkerton, Linda Farrell of Kincardine, brother in law Dale Farrell of Walkerton and by his nieces and nephews and their families. Predeceased by his brother in law Paul Rossignol.
To honour Richard’s wishes there will be no public visitation or services.
A Private Family Memorial Service will be held in Hanover. Cremation has taken place with inurnment in Walkerton.
