RIDDELL, Violet ‘Vi’ (née Barrie) – Passed away peacefully at Hospice Simcoe, Barrie with her daughters Sandra and Gail by her side on Friday, October 16, 2015.

Born in Glasgow, Scotland, beloved wife of the late Alex (1991).

Dearly loved Mum of Eileen (Bill) Oberer, Gail (Phillip) Coleman, and Sandra Riddell- Mum’s confidante, caregiver and buddy.

Cherished Gran to David (Pamela), Jennifer (Jason), Karen (Guillaume), Katy and Michael.

Treasured Great-Gran to Georgia, Alec and Emily.

Mum will be missed by her canine companion, Toby.

Vi was a 50 year member of St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church, Barrie; member of the WMS and Eastern Star, and a Lady Shriner. Long time Sears catalogue employee and later devoted volunteer at the IOOF Home and Leisureworld.

Friends may call at ADAMS FUNERAL HOME 445 St. Vincent Street, Barrie on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 11:00 a.m. until time of an Order of the Eastern Star Service under the auspices of Barrie Bayview Chapter 105 at 12:45 p.m. followed by the Funeral Service at 1 o’clock p.m.

Memorial donations to Hospice Simcoe would be appreciated.
