RIOPELLE , Diane Marie Riopelle (née Recoskie)

With heavy hearts, the family of Diane Marie Riopelle announces her peaceful passing on July 8, 2025, at the age of 75.

Beloved mother to Yvonne, Kirk, and Mark (Tina), cherished grandmother to Julia, Ryan, and Brad, loving step-grandmother to Kyle and step great-granddaughter Ava. She will be deeply missed by her brothers Bernard (Jane) Recoskie, Kevin (Simone) Recoskie, and Maurice Recoskie and her sister Heather (Allan) Clarke. Diane was predeceased by her parents, Helen (nee Chippior) and Ben Recoskie, and by her sisters, Alice (Gerard) Houwan and Patricia (Frank) Yuke.

Diane was known for her resilience, and strength. Her love for family was unwavering and was shown gathered around the kitchen table where she loved to be with her family.

The family wishes to extend their heartfelt thanks and deep appreciation to the nurses and doctors in the ICU’s at Renfrew Victoria Hospital and Ottawa General Hospital for their compassionate care. She will be remembered with love and deeply missed by all who knew her.
