RITCHIE, Russell Richard Ritchie

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Russell Jr. Richard Ritchie, at his home on February 18, 2026, in his 70th year.  He was the loving and devoted husband of Linda Welch (predeceased).  Left to mourn his passing are his sisters Deborah White, Darlene Ritchie, and his brothers Jim Hilton and Jack Hilton. A special uncle to his many nieces and nephews and his great nieces and nephews. He will be missed by a special niece Tammy, great nieces Sibrina, Tenisha, Jade, great great niece Tasha, and great great nephews Brooks and Nicholas.  He is predeceased by his parents Russell Sr. and Valetta Ritchie and his siblings Rosie Ritchie, Barb Trudell, Joyce Cook, Kenneth Hilton, Donald Hilton, Ron Hilton, Mary Hilton and George Hilton. Russell was a dedicated employee of KSR Dresden Industrial for 39 years.  He had a great love for horse racing and could often be found down at the track with the horses and trainers.  Russell enjoyed a simple life. He was a joy to be around, always pleasant, and could tell some crazy stories of days gone by.  He will be missed by all who knew him.

In keeping with his wishes, there will be no funeral home visitation or service.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
