HURD, Robert Allan Hurd Obituary

HURD, Robert Allan – Dr.Tech. – Suddenly at his home in Kemptville on Sunday, December 27, 2015 Allan Hurd in his 95th year.

Beloved husband of Ann Elizabeth (nee Puxley). Dear father of Molly (Lars Osberg), Jack, Tom (Rita Bertoldi) Jim (Jocelyn Jenkins).

Fondly remembered by his 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.

Allan was Lieutenant in the Signals Corps serving in Europe during WWII. Graduate of U. of Toronto – 1950, Technical University of Denmark 1970. Research Scientist at N.R.C. for 35 years.

Allan, world traveller, was creator of Squashman.

Funeral Service will be held at St. James Anglican Church, 35 Clothier Street West, Kemptville, Ontario on Wednesday, December 30th at 2 p.m. Followed by reception.

Donations to Kemptville District Hospital or Doctors Without Borders (M.S.F) would be appreciated by family.
