ROBINSON, Paul David Robinson

It is with profound sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved Paul. In the loving care of his family and pup Teddy, he passed peacefully at home on May 21st, 2025, after a short battle with cancer.

Paul was born on September 5, 1953, to Glen (d. 2006) and Pauline (née Menard) (d. 2019) of Capreol, ON. He was a devoted husband to Monique (née Charbonneau) for 52 years, and a loving father to Jennifer (Jason, d. 2009) and Jason (Julie). He was a cherished Papa to Catherine, Tori, Daniel, Morgan, and Miller.

The first of five siblings, Paul is survived by Mark (Margo), Laurie (Nick), Glenda (Bruce, d. 2001), and Scott (Kathy). He was also a beloved son-in-law to Jeanne (Oliva, d. 2017).

Paul had a deep passion for family, flying, and the railway. From float planes to flight simulators, he created enduring memories with friends and his dear friend Shane. His 35+ year career with Canadian National Railway culminated in a leadership role as Director of Transportation in Troy, Michigan. Retirement brought joy through coffee with friends, woodworking, and time with grandchildren watching the Blue Jays and Maple Leafs.

Special thanks to the team at Bluewater Health Med G, the Palliative Team, Dr. Lilly, and home-care workers for their compassionate support. Gratitude also to the Bluewater Health Dialysis Unit for their kindness throughout the past year.

Cremation has taken place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date. Sympathy may be expressed through donations to the Canadian Cancer Society (cheques only at the funeral home, please).
