ROBINSON , Rick Robinson

With heavy hearts, the family announces the passing of Rick Robinson, at the age of 65 years, on Monday, August 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family.

Rick leaves in mourning his loving wife, Louise Robinson (nee Loranger); his cherished children: Adam (Cristina), Felicia (Johnny), Peter (Alex) and Valerie (Kevin); his grandchildren: Lillian, Jayce, Owen and William and his beloved dog, Laddy.

Rick will be missed by his brothers: Bob, Luc, Ken and Michael; as well as many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Rick was predeceased by his parents, William “Bill” and Simone Robinson; and his brother Allan. As a forestry technician, Rick always had a great passion for the outdoors, and for the forest industry, right to the end of his life.

The family thanks the team at Sensenbrenner hospital for their excellent care, patience and compassion, with special thanks to Dr. Goth, who truly helped us throughout the entire journey.

Family and friends are invited to the Guenette Funeral Home for a gathering on Saturday, August 30, 2025, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

Donations to the Dialysis unit at Sensenbrenner Hospital will be greatly appreciated, in memory of Rick.

Avec profonde tristesse, la famille annonce le décès de Rick Robinson, à l’âge de 65 ans, le lundi 25 août 2025, entouré de l’amour de sa famille.

Rick laisse dans le deuil son épouse bien-aimée, Louise Robinson (née Loranger); ses enfants chéris : Adam (Cristina), Felicia (Johnny), Peter (Alex) et Valerie (Kevin); ses petits-enfants : Lillian, Jayce, Owen et William, ainsi que son fidèle compagnon canin, Laddy.

Rick laisse également dans le deuil ses frères : Bob, Luc, Ken et Michael; ainsi que plusieurs neveux, nièces, parents et amis. Rick est parti rejoindre ses parents, William « Bill » et Simone Robinson; ainsi que son frère Allan.

Comme technicien forestier, Rick a toujours eu une grande passion pour la nature, et pour l’industrie forestière, et ce, jusqu’à la fin de sa vie.

La famille remercie l’équipe de l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner pour leurs excellents soins, leur patience et leur compassion, ainsi que des remerciements tout spéciaux au Dr Goth, qui les a véritablement soutenus tout au long de ce parcours.

On invite la famille et les amis à se rassembler au Salon funéraire Guenette le samedi 30 août 2025, de 11 h à 14 h.

Des dons à l’unité de dialyse de l’Hôpital Sensenbrenner seront grandement appréciés, à la mémoire de Rick.
