ROBINSON, Theresa Clara Robinson
February 27, 1930 - October 26, 2025
Predeceased by her husband Dave, son Ken, parents Louis and Myrtle Todd, and her siblings, Terry is remembered with love by her daughter Debbie; grandchildren Jennifer (Marc), Kristin (Joe), and Dave (Aima); great-grandchildren—her beloved “munchkins”—Megan, Ali, and Liam; and her sister-in-law and dear friend, Peggie Todd.
Born in Edmonton, Alberta, Terry moved with her family to Victoria in 1943. She later met her future husband, Dave, while rollerskating—an encounter that began a lifelong partnership. Their family lived in Halifax and Kingston during Dave’s naval postings before settling into their cherished home on Asquith Street in Victoria, where they spent 43 years.
Terry worked at Eaton’s for thirty years in the cosmetics and drug store departments. She and Dave loved bowling, ballroom dancing, camping, travelling to Reno, and hosting large and lively family reunions. Both were long-time members and executive board volunteers with the Independent Order of Foresters. After Dave’s passing in 2010, Terry moved to a new residence, where she continued to travel and take great joy in her growing family—and especially her great-grandchildren.
Terry spent her final two years at the Gorge Road Hospital Waterview Unit, where she enjoyed daily activities and received exceptional, compassionate care. The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the staff, with special thanks to Leanne and Corwin for their kindness and support in Terry’s final days.
A proud Métis woman, Terry lived—and left this world—with resilience, strength, and grace. She will be deeply missed, but her love, humour, and spirit will continue to guide and inspire all who knew her.
