GLAZIN, Roger Fleetwood Glazin

GLAZIN, Roger Fleetwood  –   Passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 29, 2024, in his 85th year.

Son of the late Lilian and William Glazin. Loving and devoted husband of 53 years to the late Kathleen Glazin.

Sadly missed by his son, Andrew; sister, Mary Hunter; and nephews, Mark Hunter and Aaron (Christy) Hunter.

After the family emigrated from England in 1953, Roger graduated from the University of Toronto in 1961 and went on to obtain a Masters in Education in 1976.

Following a successful 35-year career as a well-respected public educator, he retired as the Head of Student Services at the George S. Henry Academy in North York.

Roger had a wide variety of interests and was involved for many years in various community groups and organizations. Retirement saw Roger and Kathleen travel extensively, and enjoy the company of a large circle of friends.

The family will receive friends at the O’Neill Funeral Home 6324 Main St., Stouffville, from 1-3 p.m. and 5-7 p.m. on Sunday, April 7, 2024. Cremation has taken place.
