ROMAIN, Jean Gertrude (née Waltenbury) passed away at Joseph Brant Hospital on Friday, May 30, 2025, at the age of 90.
Beloved wife of the late Dale (2011) for over 53 wonderful years.

Cherished mother to Carol Urstadt (Perry), Wayne, Kevin, and Rhonda Dalton.
Dear grandmother of Mark, Kristen, Joey, Andrew, Randy, Alicia, and Tanya.
Loving great-grandmother to Ryan, Athena, Layla, Madison, Jaxon, Gabriel, Hudson, and Elise.

Sister of Ron Oderkirk (Flo). Sister-in-law to Dainty Depencier, Deanna Crossland, Connie Faulkner (Myles), and Cathy Romain.
Daughter of the late Wilfred and Clara (née Ranger). Jean will also be missed by her many nieces and nephews.

Visitation will take place at Smith’s Funeral Home, 1167 Guelph Line (one stop light north of QEW), Burlington,
on Monday, June 9, 2025, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., followed by the funeral service in the chapel at 1:00 p.m.
Interment at Trafalgar Lawn Cemetery.
