PEARCE, Rona Ilomay (nee STOCKFISH)  –  Rona Ilomay Pearce (nee Stockfish), 90, of Napanee, ON.

Rona passed away, on Sunday, July 2, 2023, at the John M. Parrott Center in Napanee, Ontario.

Our hearts are saddened as we mourn the loss of Rona.

We will always remember her positive approach and care for others.

She loved to shop and would often bring her purchases home and then say, “Now who can I give this to?” Or when she was able to knit, she would give away her blankets and dishcloths to people she just met.

Rona had a true and giving heart. She loved God, going to the Stone Church in Toronto and just spending time with her many friends and family.

Predeceased by: parents, John, and Henrietta Stockfish; husband, Bud Pearce; brothers, Stew Stockfish, Bud and Isabel Stockfish, and Ron Stockfish; nephew, Garry Stockfish; nieces, Heather Stockfish and Wendy Stockfish.

Survived by: sister, Barb Callaghan (Len); sister-in-law, Barbara Stockfish; sister-in-law, Diane Stockfish; niece, Carol Ann Stockfish and family; daughter-in-law, Nancy Peter and family; nephews and families, Bruce Stockfish (Shana), Glenn Stockfish (Pauline), Mike Stockfish (Robin), David Stockfish (Ruth), Rob Callaghan (Kelly), Brian Callaghan (Joline), Jeff Callaghan (Lori), and Ronald Callaghan (Andrea).

On behalf of the entire family, we would like to thank the wonderful care team at the Parrott Center in Napanee.

A Service to remember Rona to be held at Wartman Funeral Home, 448 Camden Road, Napanee, on Wednesday, August 23, 2023, at 11 a.m.

Donations to the John M. Parrott Centre, would be appreciated, in lieu of flowers.
