Ron passed away at Southlake Hospital in Newmarket, in his 82nd year.

 

Ron was known by many for his long career as a director for Hockey Night in Canada.

 

Ron’s positive spirit was felt until the end, as he faced his last days with grace and his classic good humor.

 

He left this world a better place, leaving a legacy of love, friendship, and warm hugs that touched the lives of many.

 

Ron will be dearly missed and forever remembered with love and gratitude by all those whose lives he touched.

 

He will be sadly missed by son, Robin; daughter-in-law, Kimberly; sister, Barbara; and grandkids, Kaleb, Rylie and Ashtyn.

 

A Celebration of Life will be held at the “Royal Canadian Legion Branch #426, 707 Srigley Street, Newmarket, on Sunday, November 12th, from 1:00 – 4:00 p.m.
