AVERY, (Ronald) Wayne  –  February 5, 1947 – September 29, 2015

It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of Wayne Avery at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Hamilton.

Son of Ronald and Alice (nee MacEachern) and stepson of Frank Midwinter, Wayne is survived by his beloved wife Anna (nee Little) of 48 years, son Ron (Kristine), sister Heather, brothers Brian and Jase, and his little buddy Fraser.

He is also remembered by his extended family in Hamilton and New Glasgow, NS.

Born in New Glasgow, Wayne “immigrated” to Hamilton in 1963, but always felt strong ties to NS.

Wayne was an auto mechanic by trade, and a car salesman by passion for 45 years in Hamilton and Burlington.

His loss will be felt by family, friends and neighbours alike.

Cremation has taken place. At Wayne’s request there be a private gathering for family and friends.

Our sincere thanks to Dr. Hart and to Dr. Woods and her wonderful team in 6GI at St. Joseph’s.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to St. Joseph’s Hospital.
