ROOSHAN , Farangis Rooshan

Peacefully, with family and friends by her side, at Oakcrossing Long Term Care Home in London, Ontario, on Tuesday, July 29, 2025, at the age of 100, Farangis Rooshan began her journey in the spiritual world.

Beloved wife of Ghodratulla Golshan (predeceased) for 37 years. Loving mother of Haideh Golshan (predeceased), Viktoreh Golshan, Soheil Golshan (Lydia, predeceased), Helda Golshan, Roya Golshan (Hossein Shafiee), Siavosh (Hedeyeh Mohajerin), and Gloria Golshan (Farhad Binaei). Adored grandmother of Nabil Golshan (Robin), Michael Vahid Golshan, Shemiran Golshan, Bahman Shafiee, Babak Shafiee (Reem), Yasmine Binaei, Niloufar Binaei, Riaz Golshan, and Seena Golshan (Chelsea). Dear great-grandmother of 19 great-grandchildren including Parsa Thomas Golshan.

Predeceased by her parents Jamileh Norani Rowshan and Abbas Gholi Rowshan, her sister Pari Mays (Ken), and brother Farhad Rowshan. Survived by loving siblings Iran Milne, Pooran Sedigh, Jaleh Yazdani, and Sohrab Rowshan.

Farangis was a devoted Baha’i with a radiant and kind soul. She was resilient, compassionate, and a selfless mother, grandmother, and friend to many. She was a great painter, knitter, cook, baker, dancer, comedian, and played the Persian drum.

A funeral service will be conducted at Westview Funeral Home and Cremation Centre, 709 Wonderland Road North, London, on Friday, August 1, 2025 at 10:00 am. For those unable to attend, the service will be livestreamed. Register by clicking on Remembering Farangis.
