MARGANI, Rosa – November 26, 1923 – December 24, 2015

Peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, at Nora-Frances Henderson Hospital at the age of 92. 

Cherished wife of Lorenzo for 67 incredible years. Devoted and loving mother to Assunta Smith (Cameron), Antonina Cirone (Giuseppe Valle), Jerry Margani Silvana), and Elena Margani. Most loving Nonna to Daniel, Paul, Emily Steen (Mark), Amanda Casey (Paul), Daniela, Nadia, Lisa (Craig Sommer), Michelle and Christina Iaquinto (Tony).  Adored Bisnonna to Sarah, Harvey, Flora, and Lennon.

Beloved daughter to the late Pasquale and Emilia Margani. Dear sister to Concetta in Italy and the late Giovanni, Dominico, and Antonio. 

Rosa will be greatly missed by many nieces, nephews and friends both in Canada and Italy.

Rosa loved to host and cook a great amount of food to all those she adored and welcomed into her home. Her beautiful singing voice will be deeply missed and always cherished in our hearts.

A special thank you to Dr. Wyne and his medical team, and all the nurses on Ward F3 for their constant care and compassion. Thank you Dr. Di Paolo for a lifetime of care and support.

In kindness, donations in Rosa’s memory to the Alzheimer Society of Hamilton and Halton would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Resting at the FRISCOLANTI FUNERAL CHAPEL, 43 Barton Street East (near James), Monday from 2-4 and 5-9 p.m. Funeral Service at Friscolanti Funeral Chapel on Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 11 a.m. Entombment to follow.
