ROUSE, Gordon Cecil Rouse

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Gordon Rouse on February 19, 2026 at the age of 96.
Gordon is survived by his wife Joan of 76 years, his children; Linda (Wally), John (Heather), Penny (Ken) and Janet (Scott), 10 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren. Gordon was predeceased by son-laws; Wally, Ken and Scott.
Gordon was a hardworking man devoted to his family. Through his retirement years he took great pride in woodworking and enjoyed the quiet solitude of reading and spending time with his wife Joan.
We would like to thank the staff at Lakeridge Heights Retirement Home – Memory Care Unit for their incredible care and compassion during Gordon’s time there. Their incredible kindness shown especially in his last days was so greatly appreciated.
No service will be held. A private gathering for Gordon’s loved ones will take place at a later date.
