ROY, Frank Ernest Roy
December 1, 1926 - February 4, 2026
Born in Chicago December 1st, 1926, Frank was raised in St. Brieux, Saskatchewan, obtained a Bachelor of Architecture from the University of Manitoba in 1950 and then moved to Vancouver. Spent the rest of his professional life working with a variety of architects as well as maintaining his own firm for 15 years. Married his loving wife Leanne Booth in 1975, designed and built their home in Eagleridge WV in 1977 and lived there over 30 years before downsizing to a North Van condo. Always physically active in sports including skiing, sailing, tennis, curling and lawn bowling. In later years, he appreciated traveling on tours, going on cruises and multiple winter jaunts to Mexican resorts. Life member of the Knights of Columbus. A self-contained gentleman until the end in hospice on February 4th, 2026.
A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Edmund’s Parish, located at 545 Mahon Ave, North Vancouver, BC, V7M 2R7, Canada. The service is scheduled for February 21, 2026, from 11:00 am to 12:00 pm.
