It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Patricia “Pat” Ruby at Sakura House in Woodstock on Thursday, May 8, 2025, at the age of 86.

Beloved wife of the late Kenneth Ruby. Predeceased by her daughters Michelle Ruby and Allison Taylor, and by her parents Arthur and Florence Watson. Loving mother to Brent (Patti) Ruby, Cathy Ruby, Marla Ruby, and Scott (Kerri) Ruby.

Pat is also fondly remembered by her siblings: Arthur Watson (predeceased by Bernadette), Judith Watson (predeceased by Eggie), Carol Watson, Doug Watson (predeceased by Joanne), and Mike (Joyce) Watson. She leaves behind many cherished grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

The family expresses special thanks to the compassionate staff at Sakura House, Woodstock Hospital, and Homecare for their care and support.

A celebration of Pat’s life will be held at the Family Church on Dufferin Street in Woodstock at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations to either the Family Church in Woodstock or VON Sakura House are appreciated.
