RUDDER, Willy Charles De Rudder

It is with heavy hearts that we share the passing of Willy Charles De Rudder, age 94, who was born on May 10, 1931, in Oostakker, Belgium.

Willy was the devoted and loving husband of Lisette De Rudder, with whom he shared 73 beautiful years of marriage. He passed just four months before celebrating both their 74th wedding anniversary and his birthday. Their love stood as a quiet and enduring testament to a lifetime of devotion, commitment, and partnership.

He was preceded in death by his beloved daughters, Linda and Christa, whom he carried in his heart always. He is survived by his son, Frank De Rudder Willy was a proud and cherished Papa to his grandchildren Kelly, Christopher, Amber, Rebecca, and Matthew, and a loving Great-Grandfather to Charles, Blair, Riley, Olivia, Nash, Violet, Hunter, Eleanor, and Kase. He was also a Great-Great-Grandfather to Alaia, a role that brought him great joy and pride.

As per Willy’s wishes, cremation has taken place. A memorial service will be held on February 22, 2026, at 12:00 p.m., at Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, followed by light refreshments. Family and friends will gather to honor and remember a life well lived and deeply loved. Arrangements have been entrusted to Northcutt Elliott Funeral Home, 53 Division Street North Bowmanville, Ontario L1C 2Z8.

Willy will be remembered for his enduring love for his family, his quiet strength, and the generations of memories he leaves behind. His presence will be profoundly missed and forever treasured.
