RUHL, Grace Isabel Ruhl

Grace Isabel (Henderson) Ruhl of Owen Sound, formerly of Keady, passed away peacefully at Chapman House on Sunday, June 1, 2025, in her 99th year.

Loving mother of Joan Whitney of Tara, Barb Ruhl (Don Sproat) of Kamloops, B.C., Paul Ruhl of Mill Grove, Jim Ruhl of Keady, and Janice (Paul) Best of Tara. Cherished grandmother of Krista (Matt), Ryan (Angela), Aaron (Carmen), Kyle, Carly (Landon), Kurtis (Chanelle), Michael (Alexis), Meghan (Matt), and Kevin (Sheila), and great-grandmother of Perry, Emerson, Whitney, Jack, Blake, Ryder, Levi, Willow, Olivia, and Lily.

Grace will be dearly missed by her brother, Ken Henderson of Owen Sound, and sister-in-law, Jessie Henderson of Ottawa. She was predeceased by her husband Harvey Ruhl (2007), son-in-law Perry Whitney, sister Mary (Art) Klages, brothers Gordon Henderson, Jim (Audrey) Henderson, sister-in-law Lynn Henderson, and her parents Stanley and Ida (Bowman) Henderson.

A memorial service honouring Grace’s life will be held at the Keady – North Derby United Church on Monday, June 9, 2025, at 2 p.m. A reception will follow. Private inurnment in Desboro Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations to Keady – North Derby United Church or the Grey Bruce Hospice (Chapman House) would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
