In Loving Memory
Family and friends are deeply saddened by the sudden passing of Amanda Ryder of Mount Pleasant on Friday, June 20, 2025 in her 70th year.
Former Amanda Rosemary Williams. Beloved wife of Andrew Ryder for over 51 years. Loving mother of Jared and Matthew Ryder. Cherished grandmother of Andrew Ryder Jr. Dearest sister of Felicity Taylor (Ken), Pamela Ryder (Late Paul 2014) and Donna Hussey (Wayne). Sadly missed by several nieces, nephews and in-laws. Predeceased by her parents, the Late Margaret & A. Keith Williams, Delhi.
Amanda will always be remembered in our hearts as an incredibly compassionate, strong woman, loving wife, amazing mother, doting sister and wonderful aunt. Amanda’s greatest joy was gathering her loved ones for family get-togethers. She believed in the power of family and cherished every moment spent together with them.
Amanda had a keen interest in world politics, loved watching old movies, watching the activity at the bird feeders, playing word games and had an uncanny sense of direction. Amanda was a member of the Delhi & District Horticultural Society for 30 years.
Amanda’s legacy is one of compassion, integrity and love. She leaves behind a lasting impact on all those who had the privilege to know and love her and her spirit will continue to inspire and guide us. Amanda will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
A Private Family Inurnment will be held at the Delhi Cemetery.
