It is with great sadness that the family announces his passing in Sudbury on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at the age of 52. Cherished son of Pascal and Monique (née Landry) Sabourin. Beloved husband of Lynne Ranger. Loving and proud father of Alex, Noah, and stepfather of Danica and Emilie. Dear brother of Nicaulas and his wife Jennifer.

Born June 15, 1973, Jean-François was a man full of life, laughter, and a deep love for the outdoors. Whether casting a line into a quiet lake at sunrise or stalking deer in the woods in the fall, it was in nature that JF was most at peace.

A private gathering will be held.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that you spend a day outside doing something Jean-François would have enjoyed.
