SADER, Donald Sader

He Peacefully entered into rest with family by his side on Friday, January 23, 2026. Donald Sader of Brockville, aged 84 years. Beloved husband of the late Diane (née Weatherdon). Proud father of Jeff (Carole) and Karyn Thompson (Brad). Cherished grandfather of Rebecca Sader, Emily Sader, Madison Thompson, and Dillon Thompson. Don is also survived by several nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Don was a Professional Engineer who spent his career with DuPont (later Invista), retiring after many years of dedicated service. He took great pride in his work and carried that same care and curiosity into all aspects of his life. Don enjoyed working on projects around the home, maintaining his cars, and solving practical problems. He also loved to travel and explore new places, especially when shared with family.

Predeceased by his son Greg Sader; his sister Elsie Grudeski (Arnold); and his parents, Rudolf and Linda Sader.

At Don’s request, cremation will take place, with a Celebration of Life to be held at a later date. The family would like to extend their sincere thanks to the palliative care team at Brockville General Hospital for their compassion, care, and support. In memory of Don, donations to the Palliative Care Unit at Brockville General Hospital or to the Canadian Cancer Society would be gratefully appreciated by his family.
