It is with great sadness that we share the passing of David (Dave) Robert Sanders (aka Jughead) at the age of 83 with his Family by his side after a courageous battle with Cancer.

Retired Toronto (previously Etobicoke) Firefighter. Loving Husband to Liz Sanders, the most amazing Father to Laurie Greenham (Steve), proud Gramps to Kayla and Dylan. His spirit will continue to live on in all of us.

Ever supportive Brother to Karen Gibson (Harvey), Marshall Sanders (Sylvia) and Brother In Law to Bob Henderson (Late Lorrainne). The Best Uncle to his Nieces and Nephews, Kristi Oliver (Jim), Derek Sanders (Aleshia), Carl Henderson (Eric), Dave Henderson (Cindy) and the late Brian Henderson.

A man who was full of life and always there to lend a hand! A friend to many, he will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Thursday, August 28th 2025 at Dods & McNair Funeral Home, 21 1st Street, Orangeville, ON from 1 pm – 4 pm, with Words of Remembrance at 2:30 pm. In Lieu of Flowers, donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated by the family.

A tree will be planted in memory of David in the Dods & McNair Memorial Forest at the Island Lake Conservation Area, Orangeville.
