Sandra Ann McCraney October 16, 1942 - August 6, 2025
Sandra Ann McCraney

It is with deep love and sorrow that we announce the passing of Sandra Ann McCraney on August 6, 2025, at the age of 82.
Beloved wife to Wayne McCraney for nearly 63 years. Loving mother of Shannon (Chris), Heather, and Patrick (Kazia), the proud grandmother of Sarah, Michael, Catherine, Colin, Ethan, Aaron, Pierce, and Ciaran, and the adoring great-grandmother of Finn, Harper, Nathan, Liam, William, Quinn, and Oaklynn.

Sandy loved meeting people and had a gift for asking thoughtful questions with warmth and humor, making everyone feel comfortable and welcome. Sandy had a special talent for sewing and created countless memories through the Halloween costumes and handmade outfits she lovingly made for her grandchildren. Creative and resourceful, she always had a craft or project on the go and her home was filled with touches of her imagination and care.

She especially loved Christmas, not just the celebration, but the joy of giving. Sandra poured hours into choosing thoughtful, meaningful gifts for each grandchild and great-grandchild. Every present was individually wrapped with care, a reflection of her love and attention to detail. Her gifts weren’t just things, they were expressions of how deeply she cherished each member of her family.
Sandra’s greatest gift was her heart. She was a wonderful listener who spent hours on the phone simply being present, eager to hear about the lives of her children and grandchildren. She found joy in their stories, strength in their challenges, and laughter in their everyday moments, and her laugh, bright and contagious, was one of her most cherished traits.

The loss of Sandra leaves an ache in our hearts, but her love will remain with us always, in the stories we share, the traditions she began, and the way she made each of us feel valued.

A memorial service will be held at The Servos Farm, 277 Campbellville Rd, Flamborough, L0P 1B0, on Monday, August 11th at 12:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made in Sandra’s name to the Heart and Stroke Foundation, a cause close to her heart.
