On Sunday, August 17, 2025, after a long journey home, Sergio is at peace. Born on May 23rd, 1950, in Pordenone, Italy, son of the late Marcello and Ines Santarossa.
Loving husband of Debra (née Leader) for 47 years. Cherished father of Marcello and Meighen, and “Pops” to Sydney.

Beloved brother of Luigino and Dorotea, Elide and the late Cliff, Virginia and Brian, Dennis, and John and Colleen. Brother-in-law of Dan and Leona Leader, D’Arcy and Mary-Lou Leader, Dawn, the late Dorrie, the late DelLorraine, and Doreen.
Zio of Liana, Mark, Kristian, David, Richard (Godson), Brianna, Maressa, and Noah. Uncle of Mark, Robert, Clayton, Tracey, Holly, Daniel, D’Arcy, and Brianne.
Friend of “Darlena,” and Doug and Val.

Sergio took great pride in the work he did for CAW Turner Rd Centre, Local 200/444 Bldg. Corp. Donations may be made to Habitat for Humanity and Hospice of Windsor in Sergio’s memory.

Visitation will take place on Thursday, August 21, 2025, from 3–5 p.m. and 7–9 p.m. at Families First – South Windsor (3260 Dougall Ave.). On Friday, August 22, 2025, visitation will continue from 12:00 p.m. until a Celebration of Life at 1:00 p.m. Cremation to follow.
