The family announces with sorrow the passing of Lise Bouchard (née Saumier) after a short but courageous battle with cancer in North Bay on Sunday, May 18, 2025, at the age of 61.

Lise was the cherished daughter of the late Harvey and the late Annette (née Lefebvre). She was a loving mother to Blaine, Kelly (Hollie), and Joshua, and a proud grandmother to Sophie and Juliette.

She is remembered fondly by her siblings: Guy (April), Glen (Dianne), and Robert (Wendy), and lovingly by her nephews Jamie and Jason.

A celebration of life will be announced at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Theoret-Bourgeois Funeral Home in Sturgeon Falls.

In memory of Lise, donations to the Nipissing Serenity Hospice in North Bay are greatly appreciated.
