He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer’Babe” Saunders and Virginia Saunders; his granddaughter Hannah Walker; and his sisters, Diane McAuley and Mary “Sissy” Leblanc.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara Saunders; his children, Danielle Ling (Jeff), Shelley Polegato (Richard) and Jason Saunders (Lucy); and his grandchildren, Matthew Saunders (Kayleigh), Sophia Saunders, Andrew Ling (Sarah), Daniel Walker, Sarah Ling Stephen (Chad) and Daniel Saunders. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, January 8th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the MacKay Funeral Home (416 Dibble St W, Prescott, ON K0E1T0).
