Passed away peacefully on August 25th, 2025 at the age of 76. Cherished husband to Yvette (Nee Gaudreau), with whom he recently celebrated 52 years of marriage. Proud father to Phil (Mary Anne), Ray (Denise) and Joanne Miller (Mitch). Pepe to 6 precious grandchildren, Elizabeth Pannitto (Andrew), Nicole, Nathan, Zachary, the late Abbey (2016) and Emily. Predeceased by his parents Eddie and Bella (Nee Chouinard) Sauve. Son-in-law to the late Felix and late Blanche Gaudreau.

Beloved brother of the late Victor (late Theresa), late Gerard (late Mary Jane), late Alma Breault (late Albert), late Alice Lanoue (late Peter) (late Leonard Strong), late Eugene (late Theresa), late Louis (Estelle Quenneville), late Edward (Mary) and Louise Cloutier (Richard). Brother-in-law to Stella St. Pierre (JP), Marg Caza (Jerry), Eileen Robert (Gerald), the late Bern Blain (Ron), Maggie Jack (Kevin), Jeanne Peters, Louis Gaudreau, Annette Gaudreau, Sim Gaudreau (late Carol), Francis Gaudreau (Jacquie), and Julie Anne Shilson (Jack). Dear godfather of the late Albert McGowan, Monica Peters and James Baillargeon. He will be missed by many nieces and nephews.

Paul retired from Chrysler in 2001 after 33 years of service. Paul was a proud union member of Local 444. In retirement, he enjoyed playing cards, working on sudoku puzzles, and spending time doing yardwork. He also had a deep love for music and was a lifelong Detroit Red Wings fan.

He will be remembered by family and friends for his quiet presence, his hobbies, and the simple, steady way he lived his life.

Visitation to take place at WINDSOR CHAPEL – BANWELL CHAPEL (11677 Tecumseh Rd E, Windsor, 519-253-7235) on Sunday August 31st from 2-5pm and 7-9pm. Prayers at 4:30pm. Funeral mass will be held on Monday September 1st at 11am at St. Anne’s Parish (12233 Tecumseh Rd. E.). Burial to follow at St. John’s Church Cemetery (1759 Oriole Park Drive, Woodslee).
