SAYERS , Lawrence “Larry” Sayers

Lawrence “Larry” Sayers, age 75, of Stratford, passed away suddenly on Sunday, August 10, 2025 at Waterloo Region Health Network @ Queen’s Blvd in Kitchener.

Born in Sherbrooke, QC, son of the late John and Audrey (Bates) Sayers. Larry is survived by his loving wife of 33 years, Joyce (Brown) Sayers. Proud stepfather of Denise Lovell and Mike (Anita) Gregory. Step-grandfather of Matthew and Nathan Lovell, Aiden, Asher, and Arely Gregory, and grandfather of Alex Leclerc. Larry is survived by many of his siblings and their spouses, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Larry worked for Crowe Foundry for 40 years until the plant closed. Most recently, Larry drove the Mobility Bus in Stratford for the last 15 years.

Besides his parents, Larry was predeceased by his daughter Lori Leclerc and also by many of his siblings.

There will be a celebration of life announced in the coming weeks through the W.G. Young Funeral Home, 430 Huron St, Stratford, ON.
