SCHMIDT, Alma Schimidt

She passed away peacefully in her sleep on Thursday, November 13, 2025, surrounded by her children.

Adolf, Alma’s dear husband of sixty-five years, predeceased her on February 27, 2015. The two have now reunited in heaven. She is survived by her son, Arnie (Beth); daughters, Linda (Tom), Eileen (Hank), and Lilly (Paul); seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren, as well as many friends and family.

This woman of faith prayed daily for her beloved family and friends. Her wish and prayer were that all her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren would join her and Jesus in heaven someday.

Relatives and friends are invited to the Celebration of Alma’s Life held at Millarville Community Church (AB-549, Millarville, AB, east on Highway 549, east of Highway 22. The emergency address is 192086 Highway 549.) on Wednesday, November 19, 2025, at 1:30 p.m. Reception to follow in the Church Hall.

Funeral Services will be held at Springfield Funeral Home, 2020 Springfield Road, Kelowna, BC, on Monday, November 24, 2025, at 10:00 am with Pastor Rod Tribiger officiating. Reception to follow at the Funeral Home.

Graveside Service will be held following the reception at Kelowna Memorial Park Cemetery, 1991 Bernard Avenue, Kelowna, BC,  Monday, November 24, 2025, 1:30 pm.
