SCHMIDT, Mary “Luann” Schmidt

Passed away peacefully at her home in Atwood on February 12, at the age of 69.

Beloved wife of LeRoy for 50 years. Loving mother of David Schmidt, Teresa Schmidt & Carl MacDonald. Cherished grandmother of Aiden and Keelan Schmidt, and twins Kaitlyn and Emily MacDonald.

Luann will be missed by her siblings Janet & Lynn Tucker, Don & Nancy Miller, Jim & Bev Miller, and by her extended family including Amy Miller, Jim Williamson, Patrick Hill, Sandy Miller, and many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents George Hartley and Marjorie Miller (née Mulcaster), and by her siblings Glen Miller, Donna & Ken Feick, Dorothy Williamson, Alva Hill, and Ron Miller.

Luann worked at Campbell’s Soup for over 25 years and was happiest at home, enjoying quiet moments and her favourite television programs. She will be remembered for her steady presence and will be missed by all who knew her.
