SDAO, Nello Sdao

Peacefully passed away at the FJ Davey Home on Thursday, December 25, 2025 at the age of 92. We take great comfort knowing he is now reunited with his beloved wife, Adua. Loving father of Liliana Bruni (Enzo) and Pat. Proud Nonno of Louie (Vanessa) and Mark Bruni. Big Nonno of Nico and Luca Bruni. Son of the late Pasquale and the late Maria Sdao. Brother of the late Franco Sdao (late Elvira), Antonietta Cavaliere (late Giuseppe) and Luisa Palarchio (late Joe). Son-in-law of the late Pasquale Cappelli and the late Maria Rosa Meraglia. Brother-in-law of the late Alfredo Cappelli (Rosaria), Lina Cutuli (late Mimo), late Salvatore Cappelli (Rosaria) and predeceased by Rosa Gabriele (Luigi), Maria Fascetti (Armando), Gaetano Cappelli (Filippina), Mario Cappelli (Norina), Valerio Cappelli and Fiore Cappelli (Fiorina). He will be missed by his many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Nello was a selfless family man who always put others before himself. Family was always his first priority and we will continue to live by the values he was so proud to share.

Friends and family are invited to visit at Northwood Funeral Home Cremation and Reception Centre (942 Great Northern Rd, 705-945-7758) on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the Funeral Service in the Chapel at 11:00 a.m. Entombment at Holy Sepulchre Cemetery Mausoleum. Memorial donations to the FJ Davey Home Residents Council or the SAH Cancer Care Fund would be greatly appreciated by the family.
A heartfelt thank you to the late Dr. Mario Febbraro, Dr. Mark Jenkins, Dr. Jarrett, Dr. Apostle and the nurses and PSWs of Cedar Grove 3 for the care and compassion given to Nello and his family.
