Stephenson SeanSTEPHENSON, Sean Mark – It is with deep sadness that the family of Sean Mark Stephenson announces his sudden passing on Thursday, December 24, 2015 after a lengthy and brave battle with mental illness and substance abuse. Sean was 21 years old.

Cherished son of Michelle Gaudier and Mark Stephenson (Leslie) and step-son of Eric Boudreau.

Beloved grandson of Louie and Judy Gaudier and Jackie and Cliff Stephenson.  Dear brother of Gabby Gaudier – Boudreau and step-brother of Dustin and Zoey Kostal. Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Sean was born in Welland on August 16, 1994.  He attended St. Andrew School, Lakeshore High School and Notre Dame College School. He enjoyed music of every genre.

Sean touched many lives throughout his brief life and was deeply loved by his family and friends. He leaves behind a legacy of memories, laughter and love. 

A Memorial Service will be held at the H.L. Cudney Funeral Home, Welland on Wednesday, December 30th at 12 noon, with visitation from two hours prior (beginning at 10 a.m.)

As an expression of sympathy, memorial donations in memory of Sean may be made to the Salvation Army – Booth Centre.
