SEARS, Joseph Vaughan Sears

It is with heavy hearts that the family announces his sudden passing in Sudbury, on Tuesday, September 23rd, 2025 at the age of 71 years. Son of the late Raymond Harvey Sears and the late Freda Sears (née Vaughan). Predeceased by his wife Joanne Sears (née Scott). Cherished father of William “Bill” Sears (Savanna). Beloved grandfather of Jasmine. He will be sadly missed by his siblings, relatives, friends and his sister-in-law Pattie Cheesman (Al Collin). Vaughan was a devoted outdoorsman who found peace in the woods and joy in the quiet of a hunting trip. He was the kind of man who would stop whatever he was doing to help someone in need, no matter the time or circumstance. His selfless nature and generous spirit touched the lives of everyone who knew him. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
