SECORD, Katherine Gib Secord

It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of Katherine Ann “Gib” Secord (née Angus) at Cornwall Community Hospital with her loving family by her side, on Sunday, September 14, 2025; age 70 years. Beloved wife of the late Richard Secord.

Loving mother of Timothy Angus (April) and Jason Secord (Mark). Much loved sister of John Angus (Dianne), Bob Angus (Colleen), Lisa Angus, Diane Jodoin (Pierre) and Tammy Lee (Randy). Dear Nanny “Gib” to her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Special aunt to many nieces and nephews.

Predeceased by her parents Theresa “May” and John Angus and her brother Jim Angus (Deb).
Kathy was a talented quilter and a lover of cats. She will be missed by her many friends as well.

Katherine’s family warmly invites all family and friends to gather for a time of visitation and remembrance on Thursday September 18th from 10 a.m. to noon. Followed by a Service in the Funeral Home’s Chapel at Wilson Funeral Home, 822 Pitt Street, Cornwall, ON (613-938-3888).
