SHARPE, Deanna Mavis Steinhoff Sharpe

With great sadness, we announce the death of Deanna Steinhoff at the age of 87. Deanna passed away on Friday, June 20, 2025. She was predeceased by her brothers Horace, Frank, and Chris, her sister Eileen, and her grandson Simon.

Deanna is survived by her beloved husband Clarence and her children: Kathie (Peter), Carol (Dave), Sandra (Don), and Glenn (Laura). She was also cherished by her grandchildren Samantha, Alex, Jake, Jason, Angela, Julie, Jackie, Abby, and Parker, as well as her great-grandchildren Isabel, Henry, Isla, James, Olivia, Charlotte, Alexander, Edward, Sebastian, Adam, Max, Willow, and Brier. Deanna will also be missed by her extended family, friends, and community.

Born in Paris, Ontario, on January 1, 1938, Deanna was known for her great laugh and her abundance of freckles, which she passed on to many of her children. She enjoyed playing cribbage with Clarence, volunteering for Meals on Wheels, being a Red Hat, and playing euchre with friends (with some groups for over 60 years and others for over 40 years!). She also loved spending time with her family and deeply cherished her connection to Paris.

In keeping with Deanna’s wishes, a family celebration of her life will be held in the near future.
