BANTON, Shirley Anne  –

1936 – 2023

Passed away and reunited with her loving husband Victor Leonard Banton; on Tuesday, July 18, 2023 at 12:30 a.m. after battling cancer in her 87th year.

Loving mother of Michael and his partner Anne, Jeffrey and Natalie, David and Catherine, Kimberly and John, and Peter and Nancy.

Cherished grandmother of Chris and his partner Jackie, and his mother Cindy, Nathan and fiancé Marianne and Noah, Matthew and his partner Andrea, Justin, Kyle and Amy and Conner.

Blessed to meet her great grandchildren Joshua, James and Charlie.

She will be missed by her in-laws Bernie, George, Sheila and Keith and many nieces and nephews. She joins parents and brother Ernie and wife Doreen, and in-laws Neil, Joan, Patricia and Patricia.

Family will receive friends at The Simple Alternative Funeral Centre, 1535 South Gateway Rd. (Dixie 2 lights south of Eglinton), Saturday, July 22nd, for visitation at 1 p.m. until the time of the Celebration of Life Service at 2 p.m. with reception to follow.

In lieu of flowers, donations to Special Olympics Ontario would be appreciated by the family.
