JEFFERS, Shirley Adelaide Jeffers

JEFFERS, Shirley Adelaide (nee AMORY)  –  It is with broken hearts that we announce the passing of Shirley Jeffers, nee Amory.

Shirley passed away, on June 22, 2023, with her beloved children by her side.

Predeceased by her loving husband, Larry (2017); she leaves behind her children, Marva, Garin (Izabella) and Shawn (Chanel); and her adored grandchildren, Aiden, Ariana and Tristan.

Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her sisters, Doreen Amory, Violet Hanley (Ira), Annette Manners (Hanzel) and Emerald Amory-Davis (Cecil); as well as brothers-in-law, Hilton Jeffers (Maureen), Martin Jeffers (Elrica), and Hugh Jeffers (Mabel); sister-in-law, Clements Jeffers; and many, many nieces, nephews, colleagues and friends.

The family will receive friends on July 6, 2023, at the Elgin Mills Cemetery, Cremations and Funeral Centres, 1591 Elgin Mills Rd. E., from 4:00–8:00 p.m. A Celebration of Shirley’s Life will be held on July 7, 2023, at 10:30 a.m. at Richmond Hill United Church, 10201 Yonge St., Richmond Hill.
