SIEBARTH, Merle Summers Siebarth

July 19, 1942 - September 14, 2025
SIEBARTH, Merle Summers Siebarth

Died peacefully on September 14, with family by her side. Merle was the beloved wife of William (Bill) Summers for 61 years.

Devoted mother to Tim (Leanne), Michael (Julie), Keith (Erin), and the late Emily Turner (daughter by circumstance). She was lovingly known as “Grams” by all—especially her grandchildren Alicia, Brian, Rebecca, Wil, Ben, Noah, Darren, Grace and Mackenzie and great-grandchildren Tristan, Dierks, Mercedes, Thea, Talia, Maria, Patrick and Wilson. Merle was the cherished sister of the late Irene (late Don McGill), Carol (Darrel Ryan), Brenda (late Lance Davidson), and Sheri (John Lafrance).

Merle was the heart and soul of her family, the glue that held everyone together through life’s joys and challenges. Raised in a household of girls, she gracefully pivoted to raise a household of boys, each with their own unique personalities. Her strength, adaptability, and unwavering love were evident in every aspect of her life.
To those who knew her, Merle was more than a mother, sister, wife, or grandmother—she was a compassionate listener, a wise advisor, and a steady presence. Her warmth and wisdom touched everyone she met, leaving behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love.

In her later years, though attending family events became more difficult, Merle always greeted visitors with a brave smile and a warm heart. Her bond with Bill deepened in those years, a testament to their lifelong commitment and enduring love.

Merle’s absence leaves a profound void in the lives of those who loved her deeply. Her memory will live on in the stories and adventures shared, the traditions upheld, and the love that continues to bind her family together.
She will be sorely missed, forever remembered, and always cherished.

The family will receive relatives and friends at the Neville Funeral Home, 491 Isabella Street, Pembroke on Friday September 19th, 2025 3-6 p.m. Funeral Service will be private.
