October 12, 1941 - February 16, 2026

She passed away peacefully on February 16, 2026, at the age of 84. She was called home to the Lord and is now reunited in heaven with her cherished husband, Jose Maria Silva, her parents Joaquim and Maria Do Carmo and siblings Joaquim (Virgina, deceased) and Izaura (Agostinho, deceased).

Francelina will forever be cherished by her loving children Joe and Celia (Nelson). She was an adored avó to her grandchildren Erika, Lukas and Nikki.

She is remembered lovingly by her dear siblings Antonio (Maria Helena); Jose (Maria Emilia); Gilberto (Maria Dos Anjos); Maria Do Carmo (Lourence, deceased); Fr. Daniel and Joao (Fatima, deceased) and in-laws Gilda (deceased) and Fr. Antonio.

She will also be remembered by many nieces, nephews, and friends.

Francelina was born in Sao Miguel, Açores and moved to Canada to start a new life in 1975. She was a woman of profound faith and with a boundless devotion to her family, especially to her grandchildren.

She was funny, sweet yet sarcastic and was a talented cook. She will be forever loved and never forgotten.
