SIPPEL, Robert Kenneth Sippel

Passed away peacefully at London Health Science Center, University Hospital, on February 3, 2026. Born on May 30, 1941, a son of the late Alvin Sippel, Arthur and Wilma (Herold) Hartung. Robert Kenneth Sippel of Milverton at the age of 84.

Devoted husband of Lynn (Foerster) Sippel, whom he married on September 5, 1964. Loving father of Christine Hunking, Andrea (Ed) Wilkinson, Melanie Sippel, and Jeremy (Criselly) Sippel. Proud grandfather of Staci (Stephen)Taylor, Ben, Nic, and Rosie Sippel, and great-grandfather of Joclynn. Robert is dearly missed by his brother Lloyd Sippel, sister Karen Hartung (Erv Zaitz), brother-in-law Larry (Joanne) Foerster, sisters-in-law Wendy (Bryan) Hall, and Sandra Mitchell. Also survived by many nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews and cousins. He will be dearly missed by the Herold and Wilkinson families. Predeceased by his sister-in-law Donna Sippel, and by his brother-in-law Bill Mitchell, and by three great grandchildren Skye, Dakota and Martina Hunking-Jepson in infancy.

Robert grew up and lived all his life in Milverton. He ran the family farm over 70 years, and shared his love for its’ stewardship with anyone who asked. He also worked in metal fabrication and various fields. Robert was an avid fisherman, who loved the outdoors. He enjoyed bird watching and learning about various trees. He loved his gardens. He was a collector of all things, a historian, and truly loved his John Deere Tractors.

Visitation will be at the Mark Jutzi Funeral Home, 7 Spencer Street, Milverton, on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, from 4 – 7 p.m. Funeral service will be held at St. Pauls United Church, Milverton, on Wednesday, February 11,2026, at 1:00 p.m. with Pastor Sonja Van der Hoef Fraser officiating. Interment to take place at Greenwood Cemetery, Milverton.
