It is with great sadness that the family of the late Edith Florence Skovira announce her passing at Lakeridge Health Oshawa on Saturday, June 28, 2025.  Edith was in her 85th year and leaves to mourn with fond and loving memories, her devoted husband, Larry.  Dear mother of Marcie Skovira (Chris).  Cherished grandmother of Kyalea, Courtney, Cameron and Caleb.  Sister of Ruby Sellars (Ross) and Mildred Hynes and predeceased by brothers and sisters Reginald Collins, Gloria Feltham, Annetta Tilley and Vina Grunig.  Predeceased also by her parents Gilbert and Ethel Collins.  Edith will be greatly missed by extended family and friends.  Relatives and friends are invited to attend Crosspoint Church, 700 Ritson Rd., N., Oshawa, on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, from 10 a.m., until the time of the service at 11 a.m.  Interment will take place at Mount Lawn Memorial Gardens, Whitby.  In lieu of flowers, donations in memory of Edith to Crosspoint Church (www.crosspointchurch.com) would be appreciated.  Online condolences may be shared at makfuneralhome.com
