SLESSOR, Peter Slessor

Peter peacefully passed away, surrounded by his loving family at Southlake Regional Health Centre, Newmarket on Monday, December 1, 2025 at 86 years of age.

Beloved husband of Jane (nee Best). Loving dad of DJ Slessor (Pamela), Joyce Slessor (late John), Jane Slessor (Jennifer), and Jo-Ann Sarjeant (Geoff). Proud grandfather of Kaitlyn (Allen); Cory, Jason; Jaclyn, Jessica; Jenna and Kyle. Cherished great grandfather of Kenzie and Myla. Predeceased by his loving parents Dwight and Lillian Slessor. Dear brother of late Carole, John (Barb), Ted, late Bonnie and late Don (late Jane). Peter will also be fondly remembered by his many nieces and nephews.

A special thanks to his long-time friend Nancy Hewitt for being his dedicated business support over the years. Her commitment never went unnoticed and was much appreciated.

A heartfelt thanks to the Southlake Hospital’s nursing and doctor teams for Peter’s exceptional care. Their kindness and compassion brought peace and comfort to both Peter and his family in his final days.

A celebration of Peter’s life will be held at Skwarchuk Funeral Home, 30 Simcoe Road, Bradford on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 from 1-3 p.m.
