SMAIL, Helen Louise Smail

Helen was born in Roche Percee, Saskatchewan to Harry and Lucy Sears. She grew up with  seven brothers, Gordon, Dick, Bob, Walter, John, Donald and Clifford, and four sisters, Dorothy,  Mary, Shirley and Betty. She lived and worked in Regina for many years before moving to  Winnipeg with her husband, Ivan and two children, Morgan and Brenda. After retirement they  moved to Ontario to be near Morgan and his family.

Helen is survived by her children Morgan(Sandra) of Ottawa and Brenda of Minneapolis,  Minnesota, six grandchildren Eric(Emily) Smail of Ottawa, Lauren(Brayden Dewar) Smail of  Ottawa, Marissa Smail of Vancouver, Megan, Justin and Graham Letkeman of Minneapolis, and  two great-grandchildren Caleb and Kylie Smail of Ottawa. She was preceded in passing by her husband, parents and siblings.

Helen has been cremated as per her wishes.
