SMITH, Emilie Helen Smith

Passed peacefully at home with family by her side at the age of 88. Beloved wife of the late Terry. Cherished and deeply loved mom to Donna, the late Jo Ann, Bruce (Bea) and Jeanette (the late Ross). Adored Nanny of Michelle (Shaun), Michael (Jenny), Kyle (Cassie), Emilie, and Dustin (Nikita), Jake, Maya, Isabella, Amelia, Arabella, Matteo, Myles, and Dallas. Sister to Jen, Mary, Ethel, Jane, Loretta, Jack, Ron, Gerry, Willy and Chris. Emilie will be missed by many special nieces, nephews and cousins, and many life-long cherished friends who she considered family. Emilie will be remembered for her warm heart, and fun, feisty Newfie spirit. Emilie and Terry lived a full life together that included road trips throughout Canada and the US, camping when the kids were young, throwing endless parties, and country music jamborees. Their door was always open and there was always an extra seat at the table. The family takes great comfort in knowing Emilie, Terry, Jo Ann, and Ross are lovingly reunited.
