SMITH, Gertrude Smith

It is with sadness that the family of Gert Smith announces her passing at the North Bay Regional Health Centre on December 14, 2025, at 89 years of age.

Gert was the devoted wife to the late Len Smith for 70 years. She was the proud mother of two daughters and a son: Nancy Smith (deceased), Susan Kavanagh (Pat, deceased), and son Jeff Smith (Kim).

Gert loved her six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Gert was the last to pass from the Burton family of 10 children. She will be missed by Vi Gelsinger (Stan, deceased), Glen (Carolyn), as well as many nieces, nephews, and friends.

As per her wishes, there will be no visitation or service. Cremation entrusted with Hillside Funeral Services.
