SMITH, Michael Wayne – Suddenly at his home in Port Elgin, with family by his side, on Thursday, October 15, 2015, in his 65th year.

Mike, beloved husband of Carmel (nee Reaume). 

Loving father of Naomi, Sherry and her husband Kyle Martin, and Nicole and her husband Pablo Castro. 

Proud Papa of Austin. 

Beloved son of Yvonne and the late Donald. 

Dear brother of Gary and his wife Gisele, Karen Turmel and her husband Marc Godin, and Bob and his wife Sandy. 

Dear brother-in-law of Pat and her husband Bob Long, Bob Reaume and his wife Marg Whelan, Anna Marie and her husband Joel Tofflemire, Michelle and her husband George Kyrou, Donna Reaume and her husband Isaac Cristina, and Barb Reaume. 

Mike will be fondly remembered by many nieces and nephews. 

Predeceased by his brother-in-law Frank Reaume, and sisters-in-law Ruth Ann Reaume and Virgina McNab.

Friends will be received at the Port Elgin Chapel of the T.A. Brown Funeral Home, 510 Mill Street, on Wednesday, October 21, 2015 from 2 – 4 and 7 – 9 pm. A private family funeral service will be held.

Memorial donations to the London Health Sciences Foundation – Cardiology Program would be appreciated by the family.
