SNODDON, Roger Snoddon

Roger passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on July 12, 2025.  A kind soul, a strong presence, and a true gentleman in every sense, Roger lived a life of honesty, hard work, integrity and resilience.  His calm and stoic presence was cherished by all whose lives he touched.  His legacy of love, strength and humility will live on in each of us.

Roger was the dedicated husband of the late Gloria Snoddon (nee Foote) and will be forever missed and cherished by his daughters Rhonda and Dori, three grandchildren Derek (Courtney), Mathew (Andrea) and Mackenzie, and great-grandchildren Bradley, Callie and Nolan, all of whom he adored and boasted of often. Roger was predeceased by his parents Morris and Doris Snoddon, his siblings Joye Cornell and Michael Snoddon and leaves behind siblings Faye Longhurst, Murray Snowden and Stephen Snoddon.

Family and the Schoolhouse are what Roger loved the most.  He loved peace, laughter, the outdoors, golfing, fishing, hunting, cards and the odd glass of red.

Roger’s family would like to invite you to a celebration of his life at the Udora Community Hall, 24 Victoria Road, Udora, Wednesday, July 30, 2025:  Visitation from 11-12:30 pm, Service at 1:00 pm, toasts and chats to follow until 4:00.  Please join us to bid farewell to a great man.
